| | It's been almost close to 9 months now. You've been in my life and I've constantly been leveraging on you. I didn't quite like the thought of having on in the first place but now it'd seem that I'm actually pretty dependent on you. It's really been the first time since I've not had you along to a place I've gone away from this year. It's strangely liberating and quite refreshing actually. Although there are just as many different distractions but for once it's not because of you.
At any rate, I'm blogging from a different country! It's been such a long time since I can say I've been able to do that because it feels as though I haven't really been away from Malaysia for the longest time and it's really great to get away! And it helps that it's kind of winter-ish at the moment cause I've also kind of forgotten how miserable it is to be cold and hungry. Tokyo's got nothing on Michigan in terms of crappy weather but still, I think I've completely underestimated just how cold cold can be. I've only got...minimal thermal stuff which just means that my pictures will have the same person, with the same clothes...with just differing backgrounds. Haha
Bit disapointed so far though, I haven't seen that many oddly dressed people (odd by my own standards, not really judging on a larger scale) and the girls here don't seem to be all that hot. Maybe cause I'm hanging out in the wrong area. But tomorrow promises to be a better day seeing as we'll be hitting the more shopping-type district. So lets hope there's more to be seen over there.
Strange strange thoughts are entering my mind nowadays. I think I'm getting old. *sigh* Think winter weather plus american movie propaganda always brings out the oddly romantic thoughts. :D I disagree if you say it doesn't matter where you are, but more who you're with...because if you're in a hot, humid, dirty place...it just can't compare with some of the sights and sounds of a different setting.
Anyways, time to catch up on some shut-eye here. Nothing like cold weather to assist in snuggling into the bed. :D Oh, this is also my FIRST time sitting on a toilet seat that's been warmed. A most pleasant feeling I must say. Definitely beats the bite of a cold toilet seat early in the morning. |
